Host a 'Donate a Dollar' event. In these tough financial times it may be hard to donate on our own. Donate as a group where each person just donates a dollar.  

Have a fundraiser of your own. I will be happy to help and am open to all ideas.   

Get the word out. Tell friends, family, co-workers, members of your clubs, organizations, bowling leagues, etc.   Listen, we email each other often with jokes and nonsense.  How about emailing  this information to everyone on your list and ask them to pass it on.....  lets see how many people we can involve in this cause. 

Are you an educator? A union member? A bartender or waiter? I have a special challenge for you. I have been a teacher and union member for over 20 years. I have waited tables in every possible type of restaurant for over 30 years. Show some support for a colleague and make a donation. 

Do you own a business or know someone who owns a business?  Put a change collection container out and collect donations.
